Thanks to the efforts from ANIEME, with the support of ICEX, the invited guests have the opportunity to learn the latest trends of the Spanish offer of furniture which will be presented at the fair, which will undoubtedly contribute to the international projection the brand name "furniture of Spain."
The positive evolution of Spanish exports of furniture, with a growth of 5.3% during the first half of 2010, reflects the considerable effort that the Spanish manufacturers of furniture are made to bring the Spanish offer of furniture beyond our borders, thus saving the weakening of domestic consumption.
Particularly noted for the upward trend in imports of Spanish furniture markets such as Saudi Arabia, Algeria or Morocco, if we talk about emerging markets, as well as Portugal, Germany, United Kingdom, Belgium and the Netherlands between traditional markets.
Highlighting the efforts made each year since ANIEME in getting the presence of new buyers from emerging markets in HABITAT VALENCIA, so they can see first hand the furniture manufactured in Spain and Spanish manufacturers include among its suppliers of furniture.
According to statements by Juan Carlos Munoz, President of ANIEME "," The increase, though moderate-, furniture exports in the first half of 2010 shows that internationalization is now more than ever a way for the Spanish business growth.
The companies in our sector face a wide horizon of possibilities to increase their degree of international openness, exporting to more countries through new channels, a greater number and customer segments ... etc.
In this sense, diversification of export destinations of furniture contributes to increasing our exports, and to do the show HABITAT VALENCIA is presented as an exceptional platform to expand the network of international contacts. "
