The Directorate General of Land and Housing has launched a competition for the management and treatment of the urban landscape of access to Jumilla and Yecla, on the axis of the road N-334, whose development is in line with the bases that same body that has developed and is available on the website of the City of Yecla.
Competent technicians can participate in the field of urban and architectural projects.
The deadline for submission of work shall be 45 days from publication in the Official Rules of the Region of Murcia.
This design competition aims to select two proposals for landscaping, one for and one for Yecla Jumilla by popular vote via the Internet and with the intervention of a jury.
The aim is to promote civic participation and awareness on issues of landscape
The Directorate General of Land and Housing to take part along with 14 other regions and institutions of the Mediterranean Basin, in the European project PAYS.MED.URBAN, "High quality of landscape as a key element in the sustainability and competitiveness of Mediterranean urban areas", framed in Med Programme 2007-2013 of territorial cooperation.
Through this project we have put in brand initiatives to boost the European Landscape Convention, achieving greater awareness and appreciation of the landscape by the population.
The line of work "Action Pilot", which stands this contest of ideas, focuses on the approach of `experimental landscape management proposals on changing areas, using public participation process involving citizens in the transformation of local territory.
