Council starts a campaign of sharing high-strength reusable bags in public markets.
Utilities Councilman Antonio Puche, explained that the action has four distinct goals: the promotion of purchases in these facilities, environmental protection, promotion of local public services and assistance to asylum Yecla.
Provided the 4,500 bags will be provided exclusively to clients of the two municipal markets in exchange for 0.5 euros each.
With the money traders prepare a large basket of products to be delivered to the asylum of Yecla.
To promote shopping in these stores the bags include a theme which recalls the service provided by the municipal markets.
Background also has printed a series of messages that also promotes the proper use of public services the City: the use of paper, recycling rubbish, saving water and energy and transport use public.
The bags, which are made of raffia, a fiber woven thick and high strength, and have two strong handles are designed for reuse.
Thus replacing the usual plastic bags, which helps preserve the environment.
