Yecla City Council recalls that until the January 15, 2011, is open enrollment deadline for the Electoral Register, to participate in the municipal elections of 22 May 2011, those citizens of countries with which Spain has established an agreement acknowledging their nationals the right to vote in municipal elections.

These countries, as of today are: Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Norway, Paraguay, Peru, New Zealand and Bolivia.

All requirements and documentation needed to make this right effective, can be found in the Mayor's Proclamation of November 18, 2010.
