The Department of Social Policy, Women and Immigration reports that during the past Christmas season has proceeded to distribute more than 200 lots of nonperishable food to as many families in dire economic yeclanas.

The food was donated by individuals and delivered to various food establishments in our town, schools and at the headquarters of New Generations of the People's Party, an organization that promoted this campaign.

This organization provides food collected this council through the Municipal Centre of Social Services to proceed with distribution to families who need it most.
