The Minister of Presidency and Public Administration, Maria Pedro García Reverte, accompanied by the Mayor of Yecla, Juan Miguel Benedito inaugurated work on the bridge walkway over the former railway line from narrow gauge (popularly known as the 'Buzzer').
The City has built a robust, next to the first kilometer of the road Villena, with which retrieves a most symbolic buildings in the city.
To further accentuate its aesthetic significance, the work includes a wide arc of 6 feet high and 40 meters long.
The infrastructure platform is located 3 feet above the boardwalk that crosses the bridge, so the highest point of the arc to reach 9 feet above the ground.
The surface of the new bridge deck will continue the sidewalk and the bike path that runs along the road in the first kilometers Villena.

The work also features night illumination.
The budget of the work amounts to the amount of 119,102 euros.
Has been funded entirely by the Presidential and Public Administration, through the Directorate General of Local Government (within the Local Cooperation Fund)
