The PSOE received 5,111 votes to give 6 aldermen, and IU, 2,389, with which it has 3 aldermen
The City of Yecla continue governed by the PP, now with an absolute majority.
In total the party received 9,088 votes, 52.45% of all those that have been deposited in the ballot box, giving it 12 of the 21 council members of the Consistory.
The PSOE, in turn, received 5,111 ballots, representing 29.5% of the total and give 6 aldermen.
As for IU, 3 aldermen maintained thanks to the votes reached 2,389, 13.79%.
Finally, of the 24,543 people who comprise the municipal electoral roll, have exercised their right to vote 17,811, representing 72.6% of the total.
Among all of these ballots cast in the 40 polling stations in Yecla, 738 were white and 485 have been nil.
260 people voted than in 2007, though, as the electoral roll has increased by 771 people since then, it appears that the participation of persons entitled to vote has dropped by 1.2 percentage points (in 2007 the turnout was 73.8%).
