President of the Autonomous Community, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, and all the Governing Council of the Region of Murcia today expressed its condolences on the death of the mayor of Yecla, Juan Miguel Benedito.

Benedito, who died early this afternoon, was mayor of Yeclano since 2003, PP councilor in the city of Yecla since 1986, and Municipal People's Party spokesman and deputy mayor from 1999 to 2003.

Valcárcel, along with members of the regional government, Yecla moves to accompany family and close friends of the deceased.
