The chapel installed in the Assembly Room of City Hall will be open until 15 hours
This evening at 17 hours officiate at the funeral Mass for Juan Miguel Benedito Rodriguez, mayor of Yecla, who died yesterday at the hospital Virgen del Castillo local emergency after being admitted earlier in the morning.
Since last night the chapel is installed with the body of the mayor in the Plenary Hall of the Town Hall yesterday where hundreds of people are going to pay their respects to the figure of the first mayor of the municipality and which so far have gotten around to fifty wreaths of different groups and individuals.
At 15 hours will be closed to the public the chapel so they can spend one last moment with those closest to the deceased.
The funeral procession will leave the Town Hall a few minutes before 17 hours toward the Basilica of the Immaculate in the street Martínez Corbalan.
This committee will consist of the band of the Association of Friends of Music Yecla, which opens the procession playing funeral marches, then ported the coffin will be shouldered by people close to the mayor and escorted by local police in dress uniform , walk behind the casket after the family and this is the Municipal Corporation, regional authorities and mayors of other municipalities.
Among the authorities who have confirmed their participation are President of the Regional Assembly, the Government Delegate, several directors of the Autonomous Region and other mayors from the region and places near Yecla.
