Yeclanos Socialists denounce the cuts that are coming in Education Policy and PP already included in the 2012 municipal budget presented by the government team.
The Municipal Socialist Group wants to report to the citizens of Yecla that the Education Minister Jose Antonio Wert, has already announced it will review the mechanisms for access to scholarships and their maintenance according to criteria of economic efficiency underestimating the economic level of the applicants.
With the scholarship system posed by the Minister of Education seeks to study only the children of the wealthy, condemning the children of workers and people with fewer economic resources to lack of access to higher education, with the exception of to be a gifted and get the best grades.
Similarly, the 2012 municipal budgets, in addition to cuts already announced by Remedios heating Lajara, collect a significant cut in Educational Development, which the team of Mark Ortuño government will allocate 12 000 euros less than in 2011 .
Since our group and from the Yecla PSOE think the PP's education policy and municipal officials are a step back in an area as fundamental as education and makes it clear that popular governments like to just go to college who can afford it.
