The Socialist Party of Yecla proposes that the municipality act directly and forcefully against the poisoning of animals in recent weeks has been reported by various groups in the city.
The PSOE councilor of Yecla, Juan Chinchilla, explained at a press conference the motion that the socialist group will take the next plenary session in May requesting that the conviction of poisoning of animals, that the City is a private legal action, campaigns information and the inclusion of Yecla in the Network of Municipalities against poisoning.
The Socialist councilor has indicated that "the fields are full of Yecla poisoned bait and traps illegal due to a number of undesirable environmental terrorists who kill animals unnecessarily. A situation which has been denounced by both the Society of Hunters as ANIDA ".
To this end the proposal is intended socialist group for whom this could be very negative at the prospect that has the municipality to form part of the Life-Iberlince.
Citizen awareness and precocupación to this issue is high due to the large number of citizens who have pets that are not exempt from this danger.
Chinchilla stressed waiting for the unanimous support of all groups and has called for an awareness campaign "to end this scourge environmental definitely practiced by unpresentable."
