The permanent seat of Yecla Murcia University has organized, in collaboration with the town of Yecla, the "Cultural Tourism" a conference and workshops aimed at the analysis of issues relating to cultural tourism, museums and archeology, which collaborates Municipal Archaeological Museum "Cayetano Mergelina."

It begins on Thursday April 19, with the workshop "Cultural tourism: leisure activity and heritage protection", by Herminia Marín, Professor at the School of Tourism at the University of Murcia.
The May 3 workshop is done "Cultural and Natural Heritage of the Region of Murcia. Tourist Exploitation" by Mercedes Escriche Millán, Ph.D. in Geography, Director of Grand Tour (Journal of Tourism Research) and Professor of the School of Murcia Tourism.
The program concludes on May 8, with the intervention of Liborio Molina Ruiz, Director of the Municipal Archaeological Museum of Yecla, who spoke on "The Municipal Archaeological Museum of Yecla and proposed structure for local heritage"
