The Hospital 'Virgen del Castillo' Yecla already has a new service delivery rooms, which is serving since last 18 days, after completion of the renovation work carried out in six months and whose works have cost 321,634 euros.
With this new service delivery rooms, the Health and Social Policy responds to the demand for services created in the Health Area V by the increase in population in recent years.
This improvement is bound to increase the portfolio of services and the number of professionals who provide and promote various projects, such as single management area, natural childbirth and breastfeeding, which have helped to provide greater quality of care to users.
Just this last improvement is part of the Natural Childbirth, which is taking place in this center.
Previously, there were only two delivery traditional two observation rooms and recognition and many other expansion, in addition to the nursing unit.
Access is limited to a central corridor, which also communicated with the operating rooms.
With the reform implemented, the Service Delivery Rooms now has three integral rooms and postpartum expansion, linked by washing survey zones and resuscitation.
In turn, as well as interior corridor, will have another side from the old ER to allow entry to the living relatives and, thus, make a 'more natural childbirth'.
