Moreno chaired with the mayor of Yecla, Mark Ortuño, takeover of Pascual Molina, reelected president of the Denomination of Origin Yecla.
The event was held at City Hall, as part of the celebrations organized to mark the V Wine Competition San Isidro Yecla 2012.
The secretary general of the Ministry of Agriculture called the charge of the DO Yecla as "a person committed to viticulture and rural areas, which has been a key part in the diffusion process of the wines of this appellation".
Pascual Molina is, since 2008, Chairman of the Regulatory Board, which was also the voice for seven years.
He is president of Bodegas La Purisima, one of eight wineries registered in that name.
COAG has been vice president, member of the Regional Chamber of Agriculture and has participated in the Conference of Regulatory Boards of Wine.
He currently serves on the Board of FECOAM.
Yecla Denomination of Origin covers an area of ​​6,150 hectares of vineyard, located within the limits of this municipality, and eight wineries associated to the Control Board, as well as 570 affiliated growers.
The Yecla wine production is 6.3 million liters of wine annually, of which 90 percent is exported, mainly to Canada, USA, Denmark, UK and Germany.
