The novel "The Country of the Blind" written by Claudio Cerda is the winner of the prestigious Novelpol given to Black Best Novel of the year.
In previous editions had obtained the same award as authors Don Winslow with "The power of the dog" or Ken Bruen with "Timbers."
"The Country of the Blind" takes us into the underworld of Alicante.
Accompanied by One Eye Duran, a dangerous criminal who returns to the streets after five years in prison, we discover a corrupt and violent city where crime is rampant.
This award recognizes the creative work of this young writer Murcia, original narrative voice and sharp in the newest crime novel.
Novelpol delivery will take place in July at the Semana Negra in Gijon, where Claudio Cerda also Silverio Cañada Award nominee for Best First Novel Black and is one of the invited authors.
