417 children were enrolled in classrooms last 3 years of nursery school and primary school for the academic year 2012/2013 among the 17 classrooms of 11 schools in our city, as reported by the Department of Education of the City Yecla.
This means an average of 24.5 students per classroom.
In the course 2011/2012 which is finalizing the enrollment of children of three years was 398.
In early childhood, of the 54 existing classrooms, only one exceeds the established ratio, or 1.8%.
In elementary school, a total of 111 classrooms, 16 classrooms (14% of total) exceeded the ratio.
The Councillor for Education has stated that "in the municipal governments of the Popular Party has made a significant commitment to public education in Yecla.
