The Mayor of Yecla, Mark Ortuño, accompanied by members of the Municipal Corporation has launched the development and provision of access to Molineta, on the southern slope of Cerro del Castillo, included in the proceedings of the initiative Rate Yecla.
The works have fit provided new space for walking and recreation of yeclanos.
It has built up a ride from a raised wooden walkways on metal.
With the same material, has built an outdoor auditorium building on the uneven ground, and a great vantage point from which you can see one of the best views of the city.
Access is through the construction of these wooden platforms of metal, preceded by an access road on the existing road.
At the end of the first section is an auditorium for 150 people built on the hillside, to perform outdoor shows.
From there, the route goes from a raised walkways to the top where it has built a great lookout from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the city, and the area of ​​the southern slope of Cerro del Castillo.
The whole area is equipped with furniture, has enabled a drinking water network, a telecommunications network under the pavement of the access road and a beacon lighting system along the entire route of the walkways and entrances.
The works were awarded on a budget of 728,925 euros.La action is part of the initiative Yecla Rate, together with the works in Graveyard Walk, the construction of a multipurpose building and empowerment of a large green space on the side South of the Castle.
At the end of all these actions, we will invest about five million euros, financed by European Funds 70% ERDF and 30% with municipal funds.
