The mayor of Yecla, Ortuño Marcos has proposed a new measure of fiscal adjustment that affects all three political groups that make up the Municipal Corporation: Popular Party, Socialist Party and United Left-Greens.
Mayor's proposal, to be discussed at the next plenary meeting of ordinary and for the month of October, makes the 20% reduction in the allocation received by municipal groups.
Intervention Services Municipal quantify this reduction in 57,204 euros and if the proposal goes ahead, will be effective from November 1, 2012.
The same plenary Hall includes another proposal which makes the removal of the bonus in December of this year to the councilors of the Municipal Corporation to hold office on full-time basis or in part, and also affects the Mayor Yecla.
As announced in July, such remuneration totaling 19,300 euros.
Ortuño Marcos Mayor said: "This proposal is exceptional due to the economic recession and budget we suffer all government and represents a new gesture of responsibility to ensure the stability of municipal accounts."
