The official ceremony will take place on Thursday, December 6, at 12:30 pm in the Theatre "Secure Shell" and are invited all citizens who want to participate in this tribute to the Spanish Constitution, which turns 34 years since its approval by the Spanish people

Jose Antonio Melgares Guerrero Official Chronicler of the Region of Murcia, will be asked to deliver this year's speech Constitution Day during an official event organized by the city of Yecla, for 24 years, which will take held on December 6 at the Teatro Segura Concha.

Before his speech, will proceed to the awards of literary and drawing contests "Our Constitution" organized by Department of Education will level school students and primary, respectively

The event was specially invited local authorities and representatives of all associations and institutions of our city.

An invitation Yecla City Council wants to extend to all citizens who want to participate in this event which honors our Constitution.

Jose Antonio Melgares Guerrero was appointed by the Governing Council of the Region of Murcia, Official Chronicler of the Region of Murcia.

A title awarded for his outstanding reputation and track record in the investigation of the history and culture of the region.

Maintains strong links with the town of Yecla since has been a preacher of our Holy Week (1982) and our Patron Saint (2004).

In his hometown, Caravaca de la Cruz, has developed an extensive research work that resulted in numerous articles, books and media appearances and his appointment in 1981 as official chronicler of his city.

Subsequently, he was elected president of the Association of Official Reporters of the Region of Murcia and General Secretary of the Royal Spanish Association of Official Reporters.

Academics also of the Royal Academy of History and the Royal Academy of Alfonso X the Wise of Murcia, was director of the Provincial Museum of Murcia in the sections for Archaeology and Fine Arts, and in recent years has played its work professional the Heritage Service of the Autonomous Community.
