The presidential adviser, Manuel Campos Sánchez and the Mayor of Yecla, Mark Ortuño, inaugurated the refurbishment of streets Casas Altas and the Philippines, which have enabled the redevelopment of urban traffic, replacing the water supply and sewerage with subsequent resurfacing.

The works have been completed with the installation of street furniture and renovation of streetlights, by other black wrought iron, similar to those in other streets of the old town.
The works have had a budget of 222,960 euros award.
Are included in the Supplementary Cooperation Plan for Municipal Works and Services 2011, funded by the Ministry of the Presidency of the Autonomous Community of Murcia and the Ministry of Public Administration, which together provide 68% of the budget, while 32% remaining, about 75 thousand euros, is provided by the City of Yecla.

More action in the municipality
The presidential adviser remembered her counseling through the Department of Local Government and Institutional Relations, has invested in the past six years, nearly 5 million euros in the town of Yecla to implement rehabilitation and construction of infrastructure important for the municipality.
The actions include the construction of the new premises of the local police, the rehabilitation of the old building of the Casino Primitivo, the adequacy of the School of Music and the works of the northern bypass in phase II.
It also has improved access to the Sanctuary of the Virgen del Castillo for the ride Barco de Avila, access to the town center from the MU-404, the fountain garden and walkway bridge over the old railway line Chicharra that linking the towns of Alcoy and Yecla also undertaking a series of renovation and redevelopment in various town streets and buildings of Civil Defense and local mechanics.
