Environment Councillor, Jesus Verdu, this morning attended the presentation of the educational project "School Recycling".
Promoted by AMBILAMP, RECYCLIA, TRAGAMÓVIL And ECOPILAS this training initiative runs schools in primary education (PE) and Secondary Education (ESO) in Spain, through a mobile classroom that our city is located close to the Fair Furniture, on days 8 and 9 April
"School Recycling" will be present in 20 centers of the autonomous community of Murcia.
Yecla is the first stop of the mobile classroom.
In total, will be visited by some 2,100 students, 100 teachers accompanied.
In Yecla, attended by more than 300 students from schools CEIP Alfonso X the Wise and CEIP San José de Calasanz.
The school will go along with 15 teachers.
Students can learn in a fun and interactive process which is the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment and its environmental benefits.
Environment Councillor, has expressed the commitment of the session with the education of younger as evidenced by the collaboration that has stayed with Recycling School, stating that "preserve the natural area is not limited to our natural areas but also our urban environment and our sphere of daily life, customs and uses we make of natural resources. This campaign aims to inform the environmental benefits of reuse and of how to recycle, given that our planet has limited resources. "
Although this time involving two schools in Yecla, the councilor explained that the promotional material for this campaign is sent to all of our city centers.
It aims to plan a new edition of this campaign in the coming months to other schools in Yecla
