The Minister of Universities, Business and Research, José Ballesta, and the mayor of Yecla, Mark Ortuño, today introduced the 52 edition of the Yecla Furniture Fair, which this year takes place between 8 and 11 May and will include among its exhibitors to manufacturers in four countries: Portugal, Germany and Brazil and Spain.
It is the longest running national sample, since uninterrupted fulfill its 52nd anniversary in the national calendar of fairs, in a year in which the events in Valencia, Madrid and Zaragoza are not held and in which Seville has delayed its announcement.

A sector with strength abroad
The furniture industry has always stood by its turnover and its quality.
The most important markets for companies in Murcia in 2012 were France, which collects 31 percent of the total value of imports, the United Kingdom and Russia, each with a weight close to 12 percent of the total, Portugal, Kuwait, Italy and Sweden, which account for 11 percent of the total among the four.
