The Department of Health through the Municipal Veterinary rabies campaign has regulated Mayoral Proclamation 2013 by making an appeal to dog owners to proceed to vaccinate against rabies in the intensification period from 1 July to 31 August .
Vaccination is MANDATORY IN DOGS from three months of age, and recommended in cats and ferrets.
In the act of vaccination, owners of dogs vaccinated for the first time will be given a Official Health Primer, completed by the veterinarian carrying out the vaccination.
The owners of dogs vaccinated in previous campaigns must submit the Health Primer to be filled out by the vet with the official seal of rabies campaign 2013.
They keep the prices last year: total price vaccinated dog: € 20 (€ 24 Vaccination home)
The Bando also recalls the obligation of identification by microchip in dogs within three months from the date of his birth or a month from the acquisition of the animal.
