The departments of Education and Social Policy of the City of Yecla has launched two programs Professional Qualification (PCPI) for young people aged 16-21 years who have not earned him the title of ESO or other academic qualifications, which offered the opportunity to obtain the necessary training to access a job in a company, while completing their studies get ESO, as explained by the councilor of the area, Remedios Lajara.
In this course 2013/2014 are held from mid-October, two specialties: upholstery and scrims operators and support service options.
Involved a total of 30 students and has received a grant of € 80,000 from the Department of Education, Training and Employment to fund these training activities.
Lajara Remedies recalled that students attend a total of 30 hours per week where they are taught specific knowledge areas chosen, and training and guidance to improve their social and communication training in science and technology, modules free choice as physical activity and sport and technologies of information and communication, as well as tutorials.
They also do a training practice, 150 hours, in companies.
Students who pass receive a Certificate of Professional Qualification Level 1, allowing access to the second course, which grows well in secondary schools or the Adult School.
After the completion of these two courses, obtain the certificate of completion of Secondary Education.
The Councillor for Education and Social Policy reported that during the past year, it conducted two Vocational Training programs.
Of the 30 students who participated, 15 promoted to the second year of PCPI started to ESO, at least 4 students found jobs in companies where they held practices and 4 agreed to intermediate level training courses.
Only four students failed the course and 3 left
