The Councillor for Public Service, Inmaculada Perez, announced the completion of a compliance audit contract refuse collection and street cleaning by the service contractor, Generala-Clusa Group.
These audits regularly as provided in the contract signed by the city of Yecla with the concessionaire of this service so no added cost money to city coffers, he remembered the councilor.
For this purpose, the Local Government Board has awarded the completion of this work, with a budget of 17,000 euros, the company episodic, chosen from the proposals offered.
Inmaculada Perez explained that the audit was carried out for three months in a review of the documentation of compliance with the contract provided by the company, it is found that the legal documentation relating to personnel, vehicles and equipment required is correct, is oversee the work being done on the street and take out a telephone survey on satisfaction of the citizens of the services provided by this company.
Utility Councillor indicated that his department intends to negotiate a reduction of the current contract for refuse collection and street cleaning, following the line established by the government team of austerity in spending for the operation of municipal services.
He recalled that this happens by removing certain services provided by the company and now the municipal technical services are assessing what services could be eliminated, affecting as little as possible to citizens.
