Yecla Town Hall was the scene of the first celebration outside Madrid National Assembly of the Deans of the Colleges of Industrial Engineers of Spain, on Saturday November 16.
Assembly members representing 93,000 engineers around the country and from the creation of COGITI in 1957 had never held a General Assembly outside the capital of Spain.
The mayor of Yecla, Mark Ortuño, together with the President of COGITI, José Antonio Galdón led an emotional speech to the full acts Asamblea.El has been a historical fact and has made a commendable effort to move all the Deans to Yecla, and that many of them come from as far away as Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Lugo, Cadiz or the Principality of Asturias.
A total of 42 Deans moved out of the 50 there in total.
At the plenary session discussed and approved issues of great importance and interest, such as those on the Financial Services and Schools Engineering Profesionales.Los Spanish representatives took the opportunity to know the beautiful town of Altiplano Region of Murcia.
