José Ballesta and the regional delegation will today hold a working meeting with Mexican businessmen and sign a cooperation protocol with the municipality of Mexico City
The Community promotes an institutional mission to Mexico in order to promote trade relations Murcia companies with these two countries and establish a network of business opportunities that allow both states to boost the internationalization of companies in the region.
The delegation, led by the Minister of Industry, Enterprise and Innovation, José Ballesta, is made by the Mayor of Yecla, Marcos Ortuño, as President of the International Furniture Fair of Yecla, along with officials from the National Association of Manufacturers and Exporters Furniture Spain (ANIEME) and the Regional Association of Woodworkers (Arema).
This week will meet with entrepreneurs in related industries and meetings with the heads of the most representative trade and economic institutions of both states, as well as national authorities and embassies.

José Ballesta also alluded to the good momentum of trade relations between Spain and Mexico, and said about the importance of this country with which there is a free trade agreement, in force since 2000.
During the first day of stay in Mexico, the Minister José Ballesta and delegation of businessmen from the region will hold a working meeting with officials of the Union of Industrialists of the State of Mexico, to advance lines of cooperation and trade between Murcia and Mexican companies in strategic sectors such as energy and furniture.
Crossbow also signed a protocol with the president of the municipality of Mexico City (Ecatepec), Pablo Bedolla, to promote collaboration in economic, trade and cultural issues and progress in the promotion of sectors and products of interest to both regions.
