The Minister of Education, Universities and Employment, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and the mayor of Yecla, Marcos Ortuño, today visited the new facilities of Secondary School No. 3, which completes the network of such centers in the town and is designed for 12 units of Secondary and six adult education.
This new educational infrastructure has become operational in the course of the first three groups of ESO and also for next year will house all adult education provision of Yecla.
The new institute represents an investment of the Ministry of nearly five million.
It is designed for 360 students, and along with the IES José Martínez Ruiz 'Azorin' and IES José Luis Castillo-Puche meets the needs of present and future Yecla of places in public secondary schools.
The counselor and the mayor stressed the importance of this new educational infrastructure with the means for teachers to provide a quality education aiming to school success.
Also, both the Secondary Enseñaza Number 3 as the other two township offering bilingual teaching mode.
Features of the new IES
The new institute Yecla has three main buildings connected spaces with porches and two sports fields.
The first block has 12 classrooms, a multipurpose classroom and facilities for teachers and the administrative service center.
The second module, the largest of the three, has three multi-purpose rooms, four classrooms for adult education, two computer rooms, workshop technology, a music classroom and laboratory ten seminars, library, cafeteria and offices for teachers.
The third building is a sports pavilion with changing rooms.
