Agents of the National Police have arrested two people for allegedly being twenty authors robberies in industrial buildings.
In the city of Yecla, since the summer, have been occurring several robberies in factories located in industrial estates, whose goal was the seizure of copper.
For these reasons the Commissioner of the National Police of Yecla launched a prevention device in industrial areas has led to the deployment of filters on urban roads and police checks and the use of unmarked vehicles in order to arrest the author of these criminal acts.
On 12, as part of the device and thanks to the cooperation of citizens, aware that some individuals had entered a local factory and were loading equipment into a van had.
Immediately, National Police officers proceeded to intervene, arresting two individuals when fleeing the scene in a van loaded with copper and useful for the theft.
Following this arrest, after various investigations have been able to establish the alleged authorship of these facts in twenty individuals with similar characteristics occurred in police demarcation of Yecla.
Following the police operation, this type of criminal activity has ceased in the area.
There are two detained individuals, males, of Spanish nationality, 42 and 46 years, respectively.
The operation was carried out by agents belonging to the Commissariat of National Police of Yecla.
