The Mayor of Yecla, Marcos Ortuño, accompanied by Councilman Celebrations, Juan Miguel Macho attends this morning Regional Plenary Assembly where the motion filed by Vicente Maeso, deputy parliamentary group will be discussed;
requesting that the Regional Assembly of Murcia supporting the city of Yecla and the Federation of Peñas de San Isidro in processing the application for the declaration of the feast of San Isidro de Yecla as celebration of National Tourist Interest.
The Full Council of Yecla approved on September 1, unanimously join the proposed Federation of San Isidro de Peñas Yecla requesting this statement.
During this last month have been received in the City more than fifty accessions to the request from local associations and municipalities in the region.
Yecla Mayor stated that "the predictable support of top legislature of the Region, representing all Murcia, is a major support for the submission of application by the Federation of Peñas de San Isidro, in the near future"
