The city of Yecla closed September with a decrease of 279 persons in the number of unemployed which is the biggest monthly drop in unemployment since 2011, this increase in hiring during the month of September confirms the trend of the last year in our city in which 376 yeclanos have managed to leave their unemployment.
In the past year, highlights the decline in more than 17% unemployment in the industrial sector.
The Mayor of Yecla, Marcos Ortuño, expressed his "satisfaction at the significant drop in unemployment in our city. Nevertheless, we are aware that we still have many neighbors unemployed, so we have to work from our skills and possibilities. Therefore, since the government team will continue supporting the hiring unemployed from social employment schemes and social partnerships, which this year will allow the hiring of more than 150 unemployed.
