A wide yeclana delegation of nearly 500 people would shift to Toledo on Saturday October 18 to attend the Concert Band of the Association of Friends of Music in the Courtyard of the Alcazar of Toledo.
The concert is organized by the Department of Culture, in collaboration with the National Army Museum and the Friends of Music of Yecla.

The work created by Alexander Comitas (pseudonym of Eduard de Boer), try to do a musical analysis of painting by El Greco, from a big picture in the first movement, then going to focus on the main characters of the different environment that recreates in the table, the deceased with the Saints, grief and Gloria, finally, in its latest move, again with a global vision.
The Director of the Band of the Friends of Music of Yecla, Angel Hernandez Azorin, explained that "the program for this concert aims to bring the viewer, through music, to different aspects of the celebration Year El Greco: the time, the style, the work, the character, its historical context and its connection with Yecla ".
The concert will begin a Prelude Antonio de Cabezon, before interpreting the work of Comitas (with the presence of the composer himself).
It will also include a Greek dances composed by Pedro Iturralde.
Subsequently the work of a highly regarded composer Toledo, Emilio Ruiz Cebrian, "In the Toledo souk" is interpreted.
Finally, the interpretation of the paso doble "Yakka" by José Rafael Pascual Villaplana is to establish a link between Toledo and Yecla.
