Pedro Antonio Sánchez Marcos Ortuño tucked in what was his first act as an official candidate for President of the Region
The current mayor of Yecla, Marcos Ortuño, submitted its official candidacy for the Popular Party for mayor in a ceremony that was marked by the large crowds on Thursday 12 March.
In addition to the 300 people who filled the Municipal Auditorium, the organization decided to leave the doors open during the celebration of the event for those neighbors who was no room inside.
During his speech, the candidate highlighted the achievements during the last legislature, highlighting the "serious and rigorous" economic management marked by the surplus without having raised taxes, unlocking for the start of construction of the A-33 linking Yecla Jumilla, the inauguration of a new institute and rehabilitation of the Church of San Francisco.
Regarding the future, Ortuño said his priorities are the creation of employment plans, assistance to entrepreneurs and the next stretch of the motorway to link Yecla Caudete and thus give a boost to attracting business investment.
He also highlighted as major project, converting to Yecla in the big mall furniture in Spain.
"A large business center that is distinguished by the quality and bid the design of our furniture, the tradition of our wines and the beauty of our history and rich cultural heritage."
The mayor of Yecla was wrapped by the candidate for regional president of the PP, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and the regional leader, Victor Manuel Martinez.
Rocío Rubio, a woman candidate, also had a prominent role to be responsible for submitting to her husband paper.
"Best of Marcos himself, his authenticity.
It has not changed and is equal in away from home.
Is a great professional with great dedication to public service, "said Rocio.
Regarding the reasons why vote for Marcos Ortuño, his wife argued that "trust a great professional and a good manager is the best future we can have all yeclanos".
