These were the words of Mark Ortuño to know the unemployment data for May in Yecla, data that have been really positive for our town and which put unemployment below the psychological barrier of 4,000 unemployed, specifically this data It stands at 3,911 jobless, 176 less than the previous month.
With these words the mayor of Yecla wanted to emphasize the value that our industry, after the good data export growth in the first quarter, continue creating jobs with an increase in industrial employment of 33%, as notable is the increase in construction aa increased recruitment of 102% over 2014. The number of contracts in the month was 837, representing a growth of 20.77%.
In all sectors it has decreased the number of unemployed, headed in this month which has reduced 55 people unemployed in services sector.
Marcos Ortuño underlined hire-data "In Yecla are creating permanent employment well above the regional average, 14% of contracts are indefinite, nearly eight points above the regional average. In addition to both permanent contracts men and women are in Yecla well above the rest of the region. "
