The municipality of Yecla could have been affected by the rainstorm and hail that occurred in the afternoon of Sunday 27 September, as reported by Peter Romero, Councillor for Agriculture of the City of Yecla who this morning visited numerous places affected with its council technicians
In this first assessment, it has been found that the damage has affected especially the vineyards and olive bordering places with the terms of Villena and Pinoso as Holla Mollidar, Cabezuelas House Orchard House Chuscano, Magan, House lamp and Raft.
The council has indicated that "in the cultivated areas, the damage has affected, as appropriate, between 20 and 90% of the crop. Fortunately, some farms had been harvested grapes, and other not grown In this moment".
