The City of Yecla and Ecoembes have launched the "YeclaRecicla" communication campaign that aims to "continue raising awareness about the importance of continue to make adequate separation and selective removal of containers, not deplete natural resources of our environment and avoid these wastes end up polluting our environment, "as explained by the Councillor for Communication, Jorge Ortuño.

According to data available to the Department of Services Públcios, in the first eight months of 2015 they have been collected in Yecla, a total of 947,469 kilos of waste, including packaging containers, paper and cardboard and glass.
This means that we have recovered an average of 27.10 kilos of waste per inhabitant
Specifically, through the collection of light packaging in Yecla they have recovered 7.04 kilos of waste per inhabitant, eNeo to August.
In regard to paper and cardboard, an average of 8 kilos per inhabitant was collected, while each inhabitant has recovered an average of 12.06 kilos of glass.
The campaign, which will be done during the months of October and November, is managed through the company yeclana PDF Studio, which has been selected among the proposals submitted to the contest.

The campaign budget amounts to 7,320 euros and is funded entirely by Ecoembes, within the agreement with this entity
