Lidó Rico (Yecla, Murcia, 1968) graduated from the College of Fine Arts in Paris (1990) and
University of Valencia (1991).

The room "Espai Quatre" del Casal Solleric (Palma de Mallorca) opens today, Thursday
June 19 at 20.00, the latest work by artist Murcia Lidó Rico (Yecla, 1968), a facility
Noctiluca headed back to where he explores the themes developed in recent years:
the human body, memory, creation or death.
"Espai Quatre" operates since 2001, is an underground area, a former oil tank Casal
Solleric, which was created to be a sensitive area the most innovative proposals generated
around contemporary art.

Rico Lidó work focuses on the body as an icon but also as a support, his creative activity.
The
conception of art as experience builds entire production of this artist, not only because their
works to manifest the imprint of his existence but also because it is a forged work
the experiences of everyday existence.
The creative process in the work of Lidó Rico, in the opinion of the artist, as important as the
work, he "gets" completely in the genesis in the embryo of the work, you need the contact with matter,
