The Ministry of Works, Housing and Transport, through the Directorate General for Transport and Highways has awarded the wording of the draft of the highway Yecla MU-404 limit of the province of Albacete in the direction of the Castilian town La Mancha de Fuente Alamo, whose budget amounts to 111,000 euros.
The layout of this road will allow a substantial improvement on a stretch of 25.4 km in length, which will improve the circulation in the region of the Altiplano, and contribute to increasing road safety by the Directorate General for Transport and Highways provides the way it performs actions for improvement.
The project will also contemplate various strategies to improve stability and aesthetics of the route alignment and drainage works, replacement of pipes, power lines and passages of cattle, all in cases where relevant.
In addition, the project will include safety barriers, traffic signing, road markings on axis and edge of carriageway, expropriation, and the Environmental Impact Study, among other measures.

The director general of Transport and Highways, Carmen Sandoval, emphasized "the importance of this action, which will benefit over 60,000 inhabitants of Jumilla and Yecla, which many are regular users of this route of communication."
