The Minister of Education, Science and Research, Juan Ramón Medina, accompanied by the mayor of Yecla, Juan Miguel Benedito, today inaugurated the Colegio San José de Calasanz, and Primary Education, with two lines, with capacity for 450 students, whose work has involved an investment of 2,598,505 euros, financed entirely by the Department.
The adviser said that "this school, with large open spaces that can accommodate in the coming years new sports fields, cover the current demand for schooling will also be able to welcome new students in the future."
Medina added that the completion of this new school is a collaborative effort with the town of Yecla and is part of the Social Pact for Education ".
The Minister further said that "since the Ministry will continue to work to modernize infrastructure and improve quality in education."
Juan Ramón Medina took this event to congratulate all the teachers in the region because "through her work in the past four years, Europe has fallen by 3 points failure at school."
The school, which occupies a plot of 9,577 m2, with a floor area of 3,458 m2, consists of a central core from which two parallel flanges being arranged in one area of children's classrooms, and the other the rest of classrooms, a multipurpose room, dining room and the gym.
In the layout of the building, we sought the best use of the land to build a playground in the space between the two wings.
The center has 23 classrooms, teachers (11 in the first floor and 12 in the second), the dining room, multipurpose room and gym, plus six offices, a staff room, library and spacious recreational areas.
