The directors of Education, Science and Research Employment and Training, Juan Ramón Medina and Constantine Sotoca, respectively, met today with the Mayor of Yecla, Juan Miguel Benedito Rodriguez, to sign an agreement to create a Secondary School and start in the IES José Luis Castillo Puche the supply of integrated teaching of vocational training, aimed at resolving the current educational and employment needs of the municipality.
These actions encourage the development and improvement of training offered by the municipality in terms of Secondary Education, Vocational Training-Formal, Continuing and Permanent, and developed the initial stage for the creation of a future Integrated Training Center, with initiation, in the IES José Luis Castillo Puche integrated teachings of Vocational Training.
The Minister of Education, Science and Research said that "this is a sensible and balanced agreement to improve the quality of education and to expand the training offered in this county, as well as to satisfy the aspirations expressed by the whole school community and the mayor of this town. "
The Minister of Employment and Training, said, meanwhile, that "the main novelty of this center will be just the integration of the three training systems: professional, occupational and continuous, allowing any worker, whether or not unemployed access the same training.
This development offers many advantages because it reinforces the integration of the unemployed and allows active workers benefit from courses aimed primarily at the unemployed, which usually have a longer duration and can broaden their education in fields other than their own, increasing the possibilities of professional promotion.
The Minister stressed "the importance of vocational training system in our region where the degree of labor market reaches 75% percent, a figure," he added, "which encourages us to continue to strengthen the training offer more courses, more specialized and better training techniques. "
