A group of 22 students and 15 teachers and educators of the Virgen de la Esperanza School of Yecla viewing facilities BODEGAS LA PURISIMA to enjoy and see directly the process of winemaking from the DO Yecla in these last days of harvest.
Students at all times accompanied by their guardians and teachers showed great interest and had at all times exemplary behavior, even one of the most curious and restless dared to ask questions about the process of making wine, showing great concern and a willing to learn very comforting.
Finally to end the visit, teachers were offered a tasting with Valcorso Barrel Fermented white wine made from grapes of the Macabeo and Old Church, the most popular wine is a blend Yecla Monastrell (the majority grape and more used in the DO Yecla), Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo.
Students, who obviously could not taste the wine to be underage, they present a glass with the logo of BODEGAS La Purisima, for back to school could taste and enjoy a delicious wine.
The Ampy (Association of Disabled Yecla) whose purpose is to improve the quality of life of persons with mental disabilities and their families, has an important social function by assisting in education, sport, leisure and working people mental disability, through social integration and are in need of some kind of special help.
