On Sunday November 16 Yecla Environmental Volunteering start its work with a cleaning and restoration business in a place as emblematic as the Monte Arabi Yecla.
From 10 am to 14 hours, these volunteers "brushed" the area around the songs of Visor collecting nearly 100 pounds of trash in an area of approximately 8 hectares.
After the removal of the waste, the twenty volunteers, proceeded to their classification, packaging, glass and other organic waste, for which we used bags of different colors.
With these initiatives, the Department of Environment and Sustainable Development seeks to initiate a series of activities that promote respect and care for the environment, with activities such as trips to unique places in our region, nesting birds or reforestation native flora.
