The Director of Social Policy, Women and Immigration Bascuñana Joaquin Garcia and the Mayor of Yecla, Juan Miguel Benedito Rodriguez inaugurated this morning the new Assessment and Guidance Unit of Disabled Yecla, located on the second floor of the Municipal Center of Social Services.
Later came to inaugurate the Day Care Service located in the Municipal Center Senior Care "The Herratillas"
It is expected the presence of the Councillor for Social Policy, Women and Immigration, Palao Andrés Concha, Instituto Murciano Director of Social Action, Miguel Angel Miranda González-Conde and the Director General of Pensions, Assessment and Inclusion Programs IMAS, Juan López Castaño and municipal representatives.
The Assessment and Orientation Unit to determine the degree of disability for purposes of benefits, economic rights and services under existing legislation.
They also conduct the review when the disability had been awarded temporary or permanent basis, if an improvement or worsening.

Day Care Service located in the Municipal Center Senior Care "The Herratillas" has meant a total investment of 502,897 euros, including the renovation and refurbishment of the premises and the kit.
The Autonomous Community has contributed 277,799 euros and the city of Yecla, 225,098 euros.
The center can serve 14 people and is expected to sign an agreement with the Ministry of Social Policy in order to co-finance its annual operating expenses valued at 190,715 euros.
