The managing director of Single Area Health Altiplano, Luis González-Moro, and the area delegate Cajamurcia, Eduardo Ortín, today introduced the new free-TV network that will serve patients in 30 rooms of the Hospital Virgen del Castillo de Yecla.
So far, patients admitted to the hospital only had 15-inch monitors in the rooms, whose service was contracted with an outside company and users had to pay.
González-Moro appreciated the effort both Cajamurcia, which has donated 30 television sets 19-inch flat screen, as the local chain Teleyecla, who has given freely of their television signal, and said that "patients admitted Virgen del Castillo may do a little more bearable hospital admission. "
The total cost of the 30-TVs have been around 6,000 euros and will see up to 60 channels.

González-Moro highlighted the significant importance as it is a competition among children, as "more pleasant stay in a hospital, which is always a difficult experience especially for a child."
