Yecla Mayor, Juan Miguel Benedito, accompanied by Deputy Mayor Mark Ortuño and Alcey Group Spokesman, Felipe Ortuño, have held this morning for a job interview with the Director General of Highways Jose Guijarro Gallego in which they reviewed the status of implementation of various communication channels that affect Yecla and depend on the region.
Mr Guijarro Gallego reportedly currently under recruitment works at Km 0 of the road Almansa.
Works that could be launched before the summer and has a deadline of three months.
Moreover, the Director General has been advanced that in the course of this year will begin work on the road because of Fuente Alamo in a few dates is intended to enter into contract period.
In addition, municipal representatives have been informed that in relation to the works of the future highway-Santomera Yecla, informative study has been completed prior to the study of environmental impact.
It was also agreed the signing of an agreement to continue the work of widening of the road Villena from the intersection with the ring road junction with the route of the future highway Font Blanca-La Higuera.
