The Housing and Land Institute (IVS) in the Region of Murcia has completed a new development of a total of 31 homes for youth in Yecla, the result of the agreement for the transfer of land through which the City Council made available an autonomous body municipally owned parcel of a total of 940 square meters.
The new building, located in Calle Maestro of the municipality, has 25 three-bedroom houses, five two, and one single bedroom, with sales prices ranging from 81,625 euros and 114,386 euros.
All include garage and storage.
The managing director of the IVS, Jane Brown, stressed that "facilitate access to housing for young people is a priority for the regional government, and that 85 percent of people entering for the first time in a house are under 35 years. "
In addition to direct aid and specific grants that the Regional Housing Plan provides for the youth of the Region, the Institute for Housing and Lands manages the construction of new developments in different municipalities of the Region to facilitate access to its first home those under 35 years.
"This," said Joan Brown, "to reduce the financial effort made by young people when accessing your first home, the main concern of the regional government, and supported at the time, groups with greater difficulties, including long-term unemployed, large families, people with disabilities, single parents and victims of gender violence. "
The recipients of property are young people who do not have any home ownership and who meet all the requirements of the Regional Youth Housing Plan.
Finally, Joan Brown recalled that in recent months, the Housing and Land Institute has completed 25 homes in Cieza, 36 in Torre Pacheco, 27 in Alhama de Murcia, 81 in Cartagena, 10 and 15 in Ulea Jumilla.
