The Governing Board of the City of Yecla has approved grant applications for the purchase of school supplies for students from kindergarten, primary and secondary school year 2008/2009.
Be granted a maximum of 168 scholarships for 60 euros each.
Also approved grants or aid call transportation for students in 2009.
For this purpose it will allocate a total of 14,900 euros
Similarly scholarships were announced to the collaboration in training of students in foreign universities (Erasmus / Socrates) in 2009.
To do this there will be total of 2,000 euros
In another area, also gave the nod to the call for grants to individuals, companies and entities deemed to be installed in industrial areas of public and / or private, located in the municipality of Yecla.
This will have a budget of 8,000 euros.

On the other hand had also been granted a subsidy of 44,097 euros to work on improving accessibility in public spaces, issued by the Directorate General of Land and Housing.
Also was aware of a grant of 12,352 euros from the General Directorate of Books, Archives and Libraries for the adaptation and integration of the Public Library network in the collective catalog of public libraries in the Region of Murcia
