The Department of Police, Traffic and Public Safety reports that in today Yecla is on orange alert, which means risk, wind gusts can reach 90 kilometers per hour, according to the Meteorological Agency.

Do not leave pots or decorative elements on the terraces, collecting clothes lines and securing outdoor items that can fly like shutters.

Also, they should not climb scaffolding without adequate protective measures and avoid locating under ledges, walls or trees that may eventually cause a landslide and take precautions against buildings under construction or in disrepair.

Moreover citizen cooperation is requested to report to 112 any incident or hazard identified in public.
