The Department of Public Services recommended that, given the forecasts of frost, especially the next morning, be especially careful with the water pipes which are placed outside (decks, patios, gardens, etc.).

These pipes should be protected with some insulating element or emptied of water as otherwise, the effect of water freezing can burst causing water leakage with the consequent cost.

In cottages, is recommended to close the taps and completely drain the pipes.

Finally, remember that in these weather conditions should not throw water on the street as ice sheets are generated, resulting in danger to vehicles and pedestrians.
