The People's Party parliamentary majority applied its automatic majority to reject an amendment to 1.5 million euros to support the purchase of new furnishings in the shops in the region against the proposal of the Socialist parliamentary group deputy Sunday Carpena.
The rejected amendment intended that the Autonomous Community of Murcia reached agreements with furniture dealers facing the implementation of a plan "Renewal" that would enable use of these products throughout the Community.
This initiative has already been implemented successfully in other regions and, especially, the Basque country has been very well received and has positively affected some yeclanos industrial growth have seen orders from that community.
Also the Regional Association of Employers of the cabinet has called for the implementation of this so-called "renewal plan" that would serve as a stimulus for industry and employment in the town of Yecla.
Therefore incomprehensible such a negative attitude of people's deputies against the economic interests of our city, which joins the very few investments that are received from the Autonomous Community over the years and have been recognized even by the Mayor of Yecla.
